Marietta Bombardieri (Proprietor) has been in the restaurant business for almost 4 decades.  In the late 1980s, Marietta bought the Cranberry Moose turning that into Abbicci.   Marietta’s commitment to providing the highest quality dining experience on Cape Cod has been recognized consistently by Boston Magazine, Wine Spectator, Frommers, Fodors, Zagat and many others.
While these accolades might be sufficient for many restauranteurs, Marietta believed she could raise the bar for herself and the Cape even further.  In 2006, she under took a complete renovation of the property in order to improve ambiance and seating, and increase her capacity to accommodate private parties.
Together Marietta and her staff continue to raise their own standards and the rest of the Cape once again will have to follow her lead.

David Schneller (Chef) grew up on a farm in a small town in central Maine.  David fell in love with cooking while working at a restaurant in Bar Harbor for the summer season.  He applied to the Culinary Institute of America for their program beginning in March 2001.   Following the 2 year program at CIA, David remained in Poughkeepsie to work in a well-known local restaurant there.
He then moved back to Maine and worked for 4 years at Arrows in Ogunquit.  There he spent time learning and working in every station until he was ready to be Chef de Cuisine.
While that opportunity was not available at Arrows, David heard through a colleague about the opening for a chef at Abbicci.  David seized that chance to work with Marietta and create the best restaurant on Cape Cod
